WAN TED: Bold Harvesters

Luke 10
2 Therefore said he unto them, The harvest truly is great, but the labourers are few: pray ye therefore the Lord of the harvest, that he would send forth labourers into his harvest.
3 Go your ways: behold, I send you forth as lambs among wolves.

This picture was posted on one my friend's facebook wall. I commented that I agreed with it - providing it was marriage between a man and a woman; not two wives or two husbands . . . . .

Quite a few comments ensued - some of which were expressed by folks who took great offense to my comments. It's time that the body of Christ started standing for righteousness again. We are called to love - we are also called to boldly declare the Gospel of Jesus Christ to a lost and dying world. Our neighbors, family members, and nation are spiraling towards hell. It's time that the body of Christ stop focusing on the gold dust & gems stuff and started declaring the Gospel in love, in truth, and in confidence. Where are this generation's Billy Grahams? Where are this generation's Kenneth E. Hagins? God's word tells us that He seeks for even just one person who is willing to say: "Here I am, Lord; send me."

God's word is not petty. Rather, God's word is serious - eternally serious! As a minister of the Gospel of Jesus Christ, I'm both alarmed and bemused that people react so vehemently towards the absoluteness of God's holiness. Read the bible, folks. Stop quoting opinion and personal experience as though those components were truth. There is one truth - only one. God's word is truth and in the words of Jesus Christ, the truth will set you free.

My close relative was abusive in many ways, but just because he is my relative, that doesn't excuse his sin. I have alcoholic family members, and those that have caused terrible hurt in innocent people's lives - does God love them? Yes! Certainly God loves them. He loved/loves the whole world so much that He sent Jesus to bear that sin. Nevertheless, God is holy. Sin is sin. Research what the Holy Bible has to say about homosexuality. Research what the bible has to say about any topic that you can think of.(not books about the bible, but the bible itself).

Are you quite certain that when you stand before a Holy God, that your opinion will stand up to His righteous judgments? I'm not a hater; I'm a believer in Jesus Christ. Jesus Christ told His disciples to declare the word of God and to speak it boldly - in the face of disdain, disgust, dislike and hatred. Our fathers and forefathers didn't die on foreign soil to keep us free, so that homosexuality, immorality, humanism, islamism, taoism, nor any other "ism", and abhorrence of the things of God, take over our society. You can try to convince yourself and others that being gay is ok. However, there are still some good ol' fashioned believers in the Gospel of Jesus Christ (without the religious damage caused by man's denomilationisms) who will declare that Jesus Christ, and He alone, is the only chance that a fallen human race has.

It is not my job to convict the world of sin - Jesus Christ said that the Holy Spirit convicts of sin. Most people don't want to listen to Him though - they'd rather careen their way onward to outer darkness and eventually, judgment resulting in the opposite of eternal life. It is however, all ministers' responsibility to tell it like it is, regarding eternity and what God's word has to say about life, death, Heaven, hell, salvation, deliverance, judgment, and hope.

Most people would rather that we christians shutup. Keep it "private and personal". Guess what? People want we preachers to shut up because the preaching of the Gospel of Jesus Christ exposes the sin-nature. Read the entire third chapter of the Gospel of John. Go ahead - I double dog dare ya. In the third chapter of John's Gospel, Jesus clearly explains the plan of salvation. The first chapter of John's Gospel tells us that mankind loves darkness rather than the light. If one is opposed to the Gospel, it's because the Gospel exposes that one's darkness.

Jesus Christ is going to return. With how rampant evil is mounting on all continents, He may return much sooner than the devil or the world suspect. Are you absolutely sure you're ready for His return? Sit down, hush up, and let God the Holy Spirit peer into the depths of your heart. Are you sure you will have confidence before Him? Are you brave enough to speak to Him as you have to me?

Jesus said: "I am the way, the truth, and the life; no one comes to the Father but through me."
Jesus also said: "The thief comes only to steal, kill, and destroy; I am come that you might have life (eternal) and have it in abundance."

Jesus didn't come to condemn the world - the world is already condemned because of sin. Jesus came to save the world.

Sincerely in faith, pure in heart, and in good conscience, I bless you all in Jesus' name.
Love in Christ,
Brother Charles

  2. TRUTH:John 8:31-32 The Truth Shall Make You Free

31 Then Jesus said to those Jews who believed Him, “If you abide in My word, you are My disciples indeed. 32 And you shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.”
